Macintosh Claris Emailer Setup

Setting up a New Mailbox

1. Start the Claris Emailer program then click on Tools and then on Options
2. You will then see the Services List screen. Click on the Internet option and then click on Edit button

   

3. You will then see the Internet Services Entry screen. In the Account listings box on the left of the screen, click on the next available blank line below the Internet Connection listing

   

4. For the Account name entry (on the right side of the screen), input the userID of the new mailbox
5. For the User name entry, input the name you wish to appear on your outgoing messages from the new mailbox
6. For the E-mail account entry, input userID@postoffice.nvbell.net
7. For the E-mail password entry, input the password for the new mailbox
8. For the SMTP host entry, input: mail.nvbell.net
9. For the E-mail address entry, input the complete address for the new mailbox
10. Congratulations! Your Claris E-mailer program is now setup with your new mailbox.
