56K Dial-up Access

Nevada Bell Internet Services offers 56K Internet access as part of our standard dial-up service in most areas. Soon we will offer the v.90 standard, and provide our customers with the highest connection speed possible with an analog modem.

Service Availability

We are upgrading our network to support the v.90 standard for 56K in May 1999. You may need to make changes to your modem equipment or setup to enable v.90 access. Please check with your modem manufacturer for details.

Once the upgrade is complete, Nevada Bell Internet Services will support the v.90 standard in all 56K dial-up locations. Our network will continue to be compatible with K56flex technology. For a current list of dial-up locations, please check our Dial-up Access Number Calculator.
