Snap Gets a New LookBeginning November 15, 1999, you're going to notice some exciting format changes to our co-branded "Home" page. We think you'll find these changes will enhance your Internet search experience by delivering more dynamic content "above the fold" and by providing you with the ability to navigate to popular sites more efficiently.
Here's a sneak preview of some of the upcoming changes:

Other exciting enhancements include:
- This format change will affect the "Home" tab view only. The page format of the "Local" and "My Snap" tabs will not change.
- When you select the new "Directory" tab, you will be taken to what today corresponds to the "Snap Web Directory" section. The "Directory" tab will continue to provide access to the full directory table of contents, which has been expanded to 22 top-level topics plus their subcategories.
- The new "Shopping" tab provides easy access to Snap's powerful new shopping engine. The new engine includes an e-wallet (Note: more info on this coming from Snap), product finder and other useful resources and tools.
- The previous "Shortcuts" area has been relabeled "Favorites" and includes the most popular everyday pages on Snap. Other less popular features (including those in the former "Interactive Features" area) are still available in their related content areas or through search, but have been removed from the front door to reduce clutter and page weight.
- The "Today on Snap" area has a new, streamlined design. One main "Top News" link will take you to a destination page that provides much more comprehensive news coverage. The other links in this area will frequently change to bring you the freshest Internet experience possible.
- The new "Communities" area highlights the most popular chat and message board areas, and also provides access to the exciting new "Snap Clubs" product. This new product allows users to build clubs that contain message boards, chat rooms and more.
